    CMBC Raising Up Leaders

    We at CMBC believe that leaders are born and nurtured. We will be starting a leadership training programme for our members to help develop your leadership skills and take your confidence to another level.

    Join the CMBC Leadership Fastrack and become a Branch Leader:

    • Leadership Training
    • Public Speaking Training
    • Become a more confident public speaker
    • Have an opportunity to become an Interim CMBC branch leader
    • Have an opportunity to start your own CMBC Branch

    This will be a 10 week training programme with a Graduation Ceremony. You will also qualify for the Leadership Achievement Award with the possibility of winning an all paid inclusive conference for two to an international destination of your choice.

    Cost: Absolutely FREE for members who are committed to becoming a branch leader or supporting their branch leader for a year!

    This bi-weekly training starts on Wednesday 14 July at 6pm online (Zoom).

    The inspiration for this day comes from Luke 6:12 “Jesus went up on a mountain to pray and he prayed to God all night”

    Plan for the day

     

    Venue: Greenwich Park – Romney Road entrance

     

    10:00 am – Start out walk up our mountain to Royal Observatory

    10:30 am – Opening Prayer

    10:45 – Move to prayer locations

    11:00 – Prayer and Reflection begins

    12:45 – Start return to Royal Observatory

    13:00 – Closing Prayer

     

    Please feel welcome to picnic after the prayers but is not the focus of the day

    Ideas on How to make the best use of the prayer day

    • Bible reading
    • Group or personal prayer
    • Petition God
    • Interceding for others
    • Quiet reflection/meditation
    • Worship
    • Praise
    • Start reading that book you’ve been meaning to start
    • Or a combination of all…..

    Safety

    • Wear comfortable shoes
    • Bring water
    • Blanket or mat to sit on
